GeoRez

Boltlock

Features

GeoRez Boltlock is a thixotropic, fire-resistant injection resin based on urea silicate technology. Separately, the two components of Boltlock are low viscosity liquids but upon mixing they quickly form a thixotropic non-sag gel suitable for overhead application. Boltlock expands slightly during curing, locking the bolt in place and reducing the need to retighten after installation.

GeoRez Boltlock can be used in wet environments where it shows good adhesion to wet surfaces, but will not absorb water.

ADVANTAGES
  • Flame resistant and will not support combustion.
  • Thixotropic
  • Controlled expansion locks bolts into place.
  • Not hazardous once cured.
  • High early and final strengths
  • Easy to handle store and use
USES
  • Tunnelling, coal and hard rock mining- Bolt embedment, filling hollow and split bolts.

GeoRez

Fissurebond

Features

GeoRez Fissurebond is a fire-resistant injection resin based on urea silicate technology. It is designed to rapidly stabilise strata and coal by giving them structural strength and flexibility. In addition to being fire-resistant and due to its unique silicate chemistry, the maximum exotherm reached during curing is well under the maximum allowed. GeoRez Fissurebond can be used in wet environments where it shows good adhesion to wet surfaces, but will not absorb water.

ADVANTAGES
  • Flame resistant and will not support combustion
  • Not hazardous once cured
  • High early and final strengths
  • Easy to handle store and use
USES
  • Tunnelling – Sealing faces and walls, grouting tunnel structures, sealing fracture zones etc
  • Coal and hard rock mining-stabilising and strengthening strata.
  • Containment – curtain grouting around oil and chemical storage facilities or polluted sites
  • Water storage – curtain grouting under dam walls, sealing fractures in foundations, preventing seepage and losses
